The Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer was a German tank destroyer used during World War II. Designed on the chassis of the Czech Panzer 38(t) tank, it served as a light, agile, and effective anti-tank weapon for the Wehrmacht.
The Hetzer appeared on the front lines in 1944 and quickly gained recognition for its small size, good armor, and precise 75 mm gun. Its low silhouette and armor slopes provided good protection against German opponents and also made it difficult to detect by enemy artillery and aircraft.

After the war, the Jagdpanzer 38(t) was also used by other armies, including Czechoslovakia and Switzerland.
