Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 – a legendary Luftwaffe fighter

The Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 is one of the most important versions of the German fighter produced before and during World War II. Also known as the "Emil," the Bf 109E-4 was a key Luftwaffe aircraft, used primarily in the September Campaign and the Battle of Britain.

The E-4 model was a development of earlier versions, equipped with a more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and improved armament. The aircraft was characterized by excellent performance and maneuverability, making it a formidable opponent for Allied fighters.
