The set of the Knights was designed at the Goldmarx factory in Hong Kong in the mid 1960's. However, it has not gone in mass production. In the mid 1970's, the Soviet Government bought ready-made molds, and in 1977, the set of the Knights produced by the Donetsk Toys Factory went on sale in the USSR. The original set consisted of 8 figures, but it was reduced to 6 in 1988 because of defects in the molds.
