The Bristol "Blenheim" British light bomber started entering service with the Royal Air Force in 1937. It was also licence-produced by Canada, Yugoslavia and Finland. The aircraft was widely used in combat in North Africa, the Middle East, etc. The Finnish Air Force used "Blenheims" during the Soviet-Finnish War in 1939-40 and from 1941 to 1944. A total of 4,422 "Blenheims" were built in various variants.
FROG company released the Bristol "Blenheim" bomber / night fighter scale model kit in 1969. In 1982, this kit went on sale in a box of Donetsk Toys Factory.
