British L.R.D.G. Command Car 30cwt Truck

This is a 1/35 scale assembly kit model. It recreates the 30cwt truck used by the British Long-Range Desert Group (LRDG) as a command car in WWII. The LRDG was mainly tasked with covert reconnaissance and raids behind enemy lines in the North African theater of WWII; mobility was therefore key to their operations, and the 30cwt (1.5t) truck was a mainstay. It had a range of almost 250 miles and was often deployed as a command car.
