MGB Roadster: A piece of model building history returns

This kit is more than just a model car - it's a time capsule. The MGB Roadster is based on the original tools from 1964. It authentically represents the appearance and design of kits from the wild sixties. As a strictly limited edition, this model is aimed specifically at collectors and nostalgics who appreciate the original charm of plastic model making. Packed in a classic 1964 design, this kit is a highlight for any display case and a tribute to the golden era of British roadster design.

Why this vintage classic belongs in your collection

• Historical forms: Built with the "tooling" from 1964 - experience model building as it was over 60 years ago.

• Collector's Gold: Due to the limitation and historical significance, this kit has a particularly high collector's value.

• Retro packaging: The set comes with the original artwork and packaging design from the original release in 1964.

• Challenging: Despite the compact 1:32 scale, this model is rated Level 5 because handling historical kits requires experience and craftsmanship.

• British flair: The 2+2 seater captures the lines of the original, which stood out at the time with its modern design and low weight.

Building this MGB Roadster is a journey into the past. Unlike state-of-the-art CAD-designed kits, this classic requires real model building art. You will deal with the peculiarities of a 1960s kit, which is what makes it so special for connoisseurs. The result is a charming 12.4 cm long model that breathes the spirit of a bygone era.

Background information

The MGB was a milestone for MG. When it appeared, it offered a very modern, self-supporting body for the time, which made the vehicle light and torsion-resistant. This enabled remarkable performance and made the roadster one of the most popular sports cars of its time. Revell is now preserving this spirit in an authentic reissue.
