GM EE549, a high speed Star Meteor, RAF Hight Speed Flight. On its return from the Paris Air Show in November 1946, EE549 set up a new Paris - London record of 520 Mph (835 km/h). During its career, the machine underwent various modifications and also its colour schemes varied. Now it is exhibited ad the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum (on loan from the RAF museum).
