The Bristol Blenheim was a British light bomber developed in the mid-1930s. At the time of its introduction, it was one of the fastest aircraft in service with the Royal Air Force and represented a major step forward in modern monoplane bomber design.
The Blenheim entered RAF service in 1937 and became one of the first British aircraft to see action in the Second World War. It served in a variety of roles, including light bomber, fighter, and reconnaissance aircraft.
The Bristol Blenheim was produced from 1936 to 1943 and operated throughout the early and middle years of World War II.
