Plastic model kit of the Lancia Fulvia 1.6HF "Fanalone" sports coupé. The kit has been updated with new parts, photo-etched parts, chrome details, and rubber tires. When assembled, the model measures approximately 16.4 cm in length.
The Lancia Fulvia Coupè was a sports car from the Italian brand Lancia, introduced in the second half of the 1960s. Its elegant styling, good performance, and favorable price-to-utility ratio contributed to its great popularity in many markets. The model quickly became one of the most iconic Italian cars of its era.
The Fulvia also distinguished itself by its use of modern design solutions for its time. The engine was mounted longitudinally in the front, with power transferred to the front wheels. In subsequent years, both the car's styling and the engine range were further developed. One of the engines used was a narrow-angle V4 engine with a capacity of 1300 cm³ and an output of 87 hp.
Based on the road-going Fulvia Coupé, the sporty Fulvia HF was developed, which became particularly important in the brand's history in motorsports. The car combined compact dimensions with efficient use of interior space and the driving characteristics typical of a front-wheel drive design.
The 1.6HF version, nicknamed "Fanalone" due to its distinctive large headlights, is one of the most recognizable versions of the sporty Fulvia. Today, the car is prized by collectors for its styling, technical solutions, and significance in the history of Italian motoring.
Note: The kit does not include glue or paints. Basic modeling tools are also required to build the model.
