The IL-20M Russian reconnaissance aircraft ("Product No. 17") was developed in the Ilyushin Experimental Design Bureau in the late 1960s on the basis of the IL-18D passenger aircraft. The airplane is destined to detect enemy radars near front and to conduct radar reconnaissance. Its serial production lasted till 1976. A total of 20 aircraft were built.
