The Antonov An-10 is a four-engined turboprop passenger aircraft intended for use on air routes of 500 to 3,500 kilometers. It was created at Antonov Design Bureau in the USSR, its first flight was on 7 March 1957. The aircraft is equipped with 85-seat cabin, luggage compartments and utility rooms for a necessary comfort during long-haul flights. A large supply of engine power and an undercarriage with low ground pressure allow the use of the aircraft on short and unpaved runways. The An-10A is a version with the modified layout of the cabin and with the AI-20A engines. The aircraft had 100 seats, later this number was increased to 115 seats and then to 132. A total of 108 An-10 and An-10A aircraft were built at the Voronezh Aircraft Plant in 1957-1960.
