The An-26 transport aircraft was created in the Antonov Experimental Design Bureau in the second half of the 1960s. The An-26 is a cargo version of the popular Antonov An-24 passenger aircraft, equipped with a rear ramp. A total of 1,398 aircraft were built in 1969-1986. The An-26s were exported to 29 countries around the world.
