

The Ilyushin Il-14 was a Russian short-haul twin-engine piston aircraft. It was developed in late 1940's as a replacement for the Lisunov Li-2 and the Ilyushin Il-12. The Il-14 first flew on 13 July 1950, and entered service in 1954. From 1953 till 1959 a total of 1,348 aircraft in various variants were manufactured:
• Il-14P: basic version of the aircraft, 18-26 passengers;
• Il-14M: export version, fitted with a lengthened fuselage, 24-32 passengers;
• Il-14T: transport aircraft, converted from the passenger version;
• Il-14G: cargo aircraft, designed to carry 3.5 tons of cargo;
• Il-14ZOD, TD & T-TD: transport & landing aircraft;
• Il-14FKP & Il-14FKM: aerial survey aircraft;
• Il-14LIK: flying laboratory;
• Il-14 Crate-C: electronic warfare version; this aircraft was first demonstrated in 1979.
