The Martin B-26 "Marauder" American medium torpedo bomber entered full-rate production in autumn 1940. Planes of this type were widely used in the battles of World War II starting from April 1942. During the war, the B-26 bombers were also in service with the Royal Air Force, the Free French Air Force and the South African Air Force. A total of 5,288 aircraft in several variants were manufactured.
FROG company released the Martin B-26 "Marauder" bomber scale model kit in 1963. In the 1980s, this kit went on sale in a box of Donetsk Toys Factory.
