North American B-25 "Mitchell" 2-engine medium bomber was among the best known aircraft of WWII. The first flight was in January 1939. Its full-scale production in several variants began in July 1940. During WWII, B-25s were supplied to the RAF and the Soviet Air Force (807 units). The "Mitchell" saw action in virtually all theatres of war. 5,815 B-25s were made in various versions.
