- New
The set includes two brown shades for the camouflage base: a more brownish version and another more greenish representing (later production batches from 1944), along with a darker brown to be used for shadow. These colors are also suitable for painting the iconic British battledress, worn on paratrooper trousers. For the camouflage pattern, the set provides a pea green and a dark brown to paint the characteristic brushstroke marks.
Where these overlapped, the result was a darker shade, caused by layering one color over the other. The set also offers several paints for equipment, including a light khaki green for webbing and pouches, black for boots, brown for wooden parts and the water bottle, and even maroon for the beret, along with one skin tone. This set also includes a light Bone color, intended for mixing with the other colors to create highlights.
While each of these colors can be used to paint specific parts of the figure, they can also be blended to produce new shades and tones used to build volume by playing with light and shadow.
