Realistic metallic finish

The A-STAND Gloss Black Base Primer provides an ideal foundation for metallic paints. It creates a smooth, high-gloss surface that enhances the realism and brilliance of the metallic coat applied afterwards.

Stainless Steel delivers a fine, uniform metallic finish, making it suitable for engine cylinders, crankcases and other exposed components.

The Dark Acrylic Wash completes the set by adding depth and contrast. It accentuates recessed details, bolts, rivets and the shadows between the cooling fins of the cylinders, giving the engine a more three-dimensional and realistic appearance.

Application tips

For the best results, allow the primer to cure completely before applying the metallic paint.

A-STAND products are designed for direct airbrush application. A-STAND Airbrush Thinner & Cleaner can be used to thin the paints and clean the airbrush.

The acrylic wash is designed for brush application and can be thinned and cleaned with water.
