A-STAND Metallic Paint Set – Exhaust Systems and Engine Components

This set brings together three metallic shades from the A-STAND range, designed to reproduce the appearance of exhaust systems, jet exhaust nozzles, engines, gun barrels, exhaust manifolds and other metal components exposed to high temperatures.

Realistic heat-affected metallic finishes

Gunmetal is a dark metallic shade ideal for weapons, machinery and heat-treated steel components. Engine Manifold is specially formulated to reproduce the characteristic oxidised brown-grey appearance of exhaust manifolds and metal exposed to intense heat during operation. Jet Exhaust is a rich burnt-metallic shade, perfect for depicting aircraft exhaust systems and turbine nozzles.

The colours can be used individually or layered together to achieve tonal variation and realistic metallic surfaces showing the effects of high temperatures.

For aircraft, vehicles and mecha models

This set is suitable not only for aircraft, automotive and military modelling, but also for science-fiction and mecha projects. It can be used to paint thrusters, energy cannons, engine blocks, mechanical joints, boosters and exposed metallic components.

The paints are ideal for Gundam kits, robots, walkers, spacecraft and other futuristic vehicles. Their varied metallic shades help emphasise mechanical structures and give models a more realistic appearance.

Application

All products are designed for airbrush application. A-STAND Thinner & Cleaner can be used to thin the paints and clean the airbrush.
