The semi-transparent finish of this paint makes it perfectly suited to add effects on areas such as engines, weapons and other surfaces that tend to accumulate grease or fluids with a shiny finish. It can also be used to slightly alter the base colour by adding a few drops of Shader in order to simulate more heavily weathered surfaces. The Satin Black Shader can be removed with water and provides working time, cures completely within 24 hours. If you want to dilute this colour to achieve a more transparent effect, use the Acrylic Thinner (AMM-2000) or Transparator (AMM-2016).
